Secondary Equipment

For a precision machined products manufacturing company, quality custom machining depends on the materials and tools available. The CNC machine shop that has all equipment needed to finish a custom part will be the machine shop that receives the most business and satisfied customers.
Secondary Machined Parts Manufacturing Equipment

Not only does Quality Machined Products and Manufacturing, Inc. (QMP) run advanced CNC Lathes and Screw Machines, but there are secondary equipment available in-house to complement an already impressive list of precision machining capabilities. This additional machinery allows QMP to complete a job from start to finish under one roof, thus eliminating the need to outsource work or encounter problems with an outside vendor.

Currently, QMP utilizes a variety of machines, each with different functions to complete secondary operations at their Western Pennsylvania (PA) facility. QMP uses a MSO (Multiple Secondary Operations) machine to perform operations such as drilling, reaming, tapping, slotting, and more. They also have a centerless Grinder to complete parts requiring a precision-ground surface. Quality Machined Products and Manufacturing also uses the following secondary equipment to complete various applications:

  • Bridgeport Milling Machines
  • Special CNC Drilling Machine
  • Special CNC Slotting Machine
  • (2) Omni-Turn CNC Lathes
  • DoAll Automatic Saw
  • Manual Hardinge Tool Room and Special Lathes
  • Sunnen ML 4000 Hone Machine

As with all other equipment, QMP runs a rigorous inspection process on all machining tools and equipment to ensure they will produce the highest quality product available.
